The following TV has a size of 70 inches and an aspect ratio of 4:3.
Find the width of the computer screen.
Round to the nearest whole

Answers

Answer:

56 inches

Step-by-step explanation:

The aspect ratio of a TV in elementary terms is width/height expressed as a ratio. A 4:3 aspect ratio means that the width:height is 4:3

The size of a TV is the diagonal measure of the TV

For the given TV we are given that the size is 70 inches. This means the diagonal is 70 inches in length

If we let W = width and H = height of TV
Aspect ratio 4:3 means W/H = 4/3

H = 3W/4  (height:width = 3:4)

The diagonal D can be calculated from the width and length of the TV using the Pythagorean theorem

D² = W² + H²

Substitute H = 3W/4

D² = W² + (3W/4)²
D² = W² + 9W²/16
D² = (16W² + 9W²)/16
D² = 25W²/16

D = √(25W²/16) = 5W/4
W= 4D/5

Given D = 70 inches
W = (4 x 70)/5
W = 280/5
W = 56 inches

Answers

The probability of picking a rabbit that is a female which has short hair is 2/5. The two-way table is attached.

How to find probability?

To solve this problem using the conditional probability formula:

P(A|B) = P(A and B) / P(B)

In this case, A is the event that the rabbit is female and B is the event that the rabbit has short hair.

P(A and B) = 8/45 because there are 8 female rabbits with short hair out of a total of 45 rabbits.

P(B) = 20/45 because there are 20 rabbits with short hair out of a total of 45 rabbits.

Therefore, the probability that a rabbit chosen at random is female with short hair is:

P(A|B) = (8/45) / (20/45) = 8/20 = 2/5

The function f(1) = 60,000(2)
00(2) 410 gives the number
of bacteria in a population & minutes after an initial
observation. How much time, in minutes, does it
take for the number of bacteria in the population to
double?

Answers

It takes 10 minutes for the number of bacteria in the population to double.

To determine the time it takes for the number of bacteria in a population to double, we need to find the value of t when the function f(t) equals twice the initial number of bacteria.

The given function is f(t) = 60,000 * 2^(t/10).

To find the time it takes for the number of bacteria to double, we set f(t) equal to twice the initial number of bacteria, which is 2 * 60,000 = 120,000:

120,000 = 60,000 * 2^(t/10).

Next, we can simplify the equation by dividing both sides by 60,000:

2 = 2^(t/10).

Since both sides of the equation have the same base (2), we can equate the exponents:

t/10 = 1.

To solve for t, we multiply both sides by 10:

t = 10.

Therefore, it takes 10 minutes for the number of bacteria in the population to double.

This result is obtained by setting the growth rate of the bacteria population in the given function. The exponent t/10 determines the rate of growth, and when t is equal to 10, the exponent becomes 1, resulting in a doubling of the initial number of bacteria.

) Construct a 95% confidence interval for the population mean, μ. Assume the
population has a normal distribution. A sample of 20 college students had mean
annual earnings of $3120 with a standard deviation of $677.

Answers

There is a 95% confident that the true population mean annual earnings of college students lies within the interval ($2657, $3583).

How to construct a confidence interval?

To construct a 95% confidence interval for the population mean, μ, use the following formula:

CI = x ± t × s / √n

where:

x = sample mean

t = t-statistic for the desired confidence level and degrees of freedom

s = sample standard deviation

n = sample size

In this case:

x = $3120

s = $677

n = 20

The t-statistic for a 95% confidence level and 19° of freedom is 1.96.

Therefore, the 95% confidence interval for the population mean is:

CI = $3120 ± 1.96 × $677 / √20

CI = ($2657, $3583)

This means that there is a 95% confident that the true population mean annual earnings of college students lies within the interval ($2657, $3583).

(2x - 5) (2x + 5) → 4x² - 25

(3x + 1)² → 9x² + 6x + 1

(x + 4)² → x² + 8x + 16

Let's go through each expression and expand them:

(x - 8)²:

To expand this expression, we can use the formula (a - b)² = a² - 2ab + b². In this case, a = x and b = 8.

Expanding (x - 8)², we get:

(x - 8)² = x² - 2(x)(8) + 8²

= x² - 16x + 64

(x + 6) (x - 6):

To expand this expression, we can use the distributive property. Multiply each term in the first set of parentheses (x + 6) by each term in the second set of parentheses (x - 6):

(x + 6) (x - 6) = x(x) + x(-6) + 6(x) + 6(-6)

= x² - 6x + 6x - 36

= x² - 36

(2x - 5) (2x + 5):

Again, we use the distributive property to expand the expression:

(2x - 5) (2x + 5) = (2x)(2x) + (2x)(5) + (-5)(2x) + (-5)(5)

= 4x² + 10x - 10x - 25

= 4x² - 25

(3x + 1)²:

To expand this expression, we can use the formula (a + b)² = a² + 2ab + b². In this case, a = 3x and b = 1.

Expanding (3x + 1)², we get:

(3x + 1)² = (3x)² + 2(3x)(1) + 1²

= 9x² + 6x + 1

(x + 4)²:

Using the formula (a + b)² = a² + 2ab + b², where a = x and b = 4:

(x + 4)² = (x)² + 2(x)(4) + 4²

= x² + 8x + 16

AN ARCHETYPAL APPROACH TOWARDS THE GREAT GATSBY: THE TRANSFORMATIONAL AMERICAN DREAM THROUGH META-MEME IN THE GREAT GATSBYIn The Great Gatsby, written by r. scott ritzgerald, the protagonist transcends all heroic figures over time and reemerges as a ubiquitous, ironical form ot the American dream, not only through the content it represents but also through its form. Long after the Great Depression, the 1929 crash of the stock market in America, history has witnessed many more economic setbacks. The 1970's energy crises, 1980's and early 1990's recessions, along with 2000's worldwide stagnation, are good examples of contemporary crises. These are not the first crises, nor the last ones. In each economic oscillation, while some companies become more powertul by turning danger into an advantage, others go bankrupt and drag the others down with them. Above all the mentioned crises lies the dream, the lure of being better and more extensive. It is not just a hallucination of companies, but a dream for evervone who pursues a bright future with a gorgeous life under the spotlights. By different means, sometimes by any means, they aim to reach their dreams. Meanwhile, they have to survive and meet their needs.Thepursued dreams become subject in the song "Rhinestone Cowboy" by Glen Campbell, which later inspires the American film Rhinestone (1984) with a subject in similar lines.Naturally, people have different desires and priorities that shape who they are in society. Human beings are complex, and mythology has played a significant role in the way life is practiced. What we cannot understand or reach becomes either a social phenomenon or social mvths, evolved from the ancients in a parallel development into those people we have today on the stage. Sometimes consciously or unconsciously, people have to choose one that could alter their fate in line with Hannibal's motto of 'either find a way or make one'.Thus, this study will highlight the American dream's different definitions and meanings in The Great Gatsby through a comparative study of history, mythology, and literature. Thereby, the interpretation of a collectiveunconscious that transcends individual unconsciousness through mythical archetypes that stimulate accumulated experience in human generations, which is the meta-meme that Gatsby typifies, is obliged. Through the angle ot post-postmodernism, the meta-meme that Gatsby epitomizes is explicated as the hero myth whose selt-sacrificing is on the way to capture the power and fulfill the ultimate task-which is a series of innate thoughts, feelings, instinct, and memories that are found in humans' minds communally. Myths of Heracles, Odysseus, Achilles, and Jason will be studied comparatively to reveal them as meta-memes and archetypal myths, whose accumulated personifications are developed in Gatsby. est-ce que quelqu'un peut m'aider faire un rsum sur le roman longue vie au dodos.. merciiii You will start by researching all of the various programs, conferences, community service opportunities, and competitive events on a local, state, and national level (with a focus on the local level).
