The asymmetric binding of citrate by the enzyme aconitase allows for asymmetric reactions of citrate in the citric acid cycle(TCA).
How does citrate behave during the TCA cycle?
Citrate synthase uses oxaloacetate and acetyl-CoA to create citrate in the Krebs cycle (CS). Citrate carrier allows for its export from the mitochondria (CIC). ACLY converts cytosolic citrate to acetyl-CoA and oxaloacetate. Fatty acid production can employ acetyl-CoA as a substrate.
What does the aconitase enzyme do?
Aconitase, also known as aconitate hydratase (EC 4.2.1.3), is an enzyme that catalyzes the non-redox-active process of stereo-specific conversion of citric acid(citrate) to isocitrate in the acid ( TCA ) cycle using cis-aconitate.
Therefore, option A is the correct choice.
Original question:
Citrate can react asymmetrically in the citric acid cycle because the enzyme aconitase

What outcome results from improper washing of a tube or well after adding the enzyme–antibody conjugate in an elisa system?
What outcome results from improper washing of a tube or well after adding the enzyme–antibody conjugate in an elisa system? Result will be falsely increased
What is elisa system? The enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA), first described by Eva Engvall and Peter Perlmann in 1971, is a widely used analytical biochemistry technique. The assay employs a solid-phase type of enzyme immunoassay (EIA), utilizing antibodies against the target protein to find the presence of a ligand (often a protein) in a liquid sample. In addition to being utilized as a quality control check in numerous industries, ELISA has been used as a diagnostic tool in biotechnology, plant pathology, and medicine.
Antigens from the sample to be examined are coupled to a surface in the simplest ELISA. The surface is then covered with a corresponding antibody so it can bind the antigen.

That's the essay i wrote and i need answers to the 3 questions at the end
the 3 answers should be 500 words. pls i need them fast its the last lesson
First of all this experiment was so interesting to me. It was really fun checking up every week to see what changes occurred to the flat head nail I placed in my backyard. it was even more fun because I left my home a couple of times to another state during the month so every time I left I was so excited to come back and see the changes. I placed my flat head nail in my backyard and actually I have a reason for choosing to place a flat head pin instead of anything else, and that's because I knew that the flat head pin would get rusty because of the automatic water sprayer that's placed in our backyard. And I really wanted to try to place the rusty flat head pin in the Pepsi to see if it really works to remove the rust from the flat head pin. And guess what? it worked! I was so happy when it worked.
The environment that I placed my flat head pin in was damp most of the time because of the automatic water sprayer, although it's really hot now in Cairo to a point that the temperature reaches 113 degrees or even higher sometimes, especially in the afternoon. The place where I placed my flat head pin had many types of insects and birds. I saw ants, grasshoppers, cockroaches, mosquitoes, bees, worms, geckos, and flies. In the first week, not many changes happened to the flat head pin that I placed, the only change that happened is that I saw some ants and flies standing on the flat head pin, but they were mostly ants. I also noticed that there was some soil on the tip of the flat head pin and that was all for the first week. In the second week, things started to be a bit interesting. I started seeing some rust already on the tip of the flat head pin! and the soil started to get even more moisturized because my dad increased the amount of water a little because the weather was really dry and some of the grass started to turn brown and dry. luckily after my dad did that the grass turned bright green again.
At the beginning of week 3, I left my house for 3 days. While I was out of town there was a stand storm that hit our area. After I came back I checked on the flat head pin to make sure that it was still there and thankfully it was but, it was soaked in sand from the sand storm. at the end of the week, I checked again and there were a lot amount of ants trying to pull the flat head pin to somewhere else but they failed. and after the ants got off the flat head pin I noticed that the flat head pin was covered in rust I came closer to smell it and it smelt like rusty water. I left town again the fourth and final week and when I came back the flat head pin was completely covered with rust and I noticed something weird there were no more ants at all stepping or even near the flat head pin. Finally, I tried to place the flat head pin in Pepsi and I was overjoyed that it worked.
Now that I'm done with the experiment. The kind of changes that I can see in a larger human construct, such as parking lots is that the changes I would witness would be that over time with the heat snow rain, and change of climate would make the lines on the ground of the parking lot would fade and lose its color and the insects over the time would eat the bits of rocks in the parking lots.
1. Extrapolate what you've witnessed to larger human constructs, such as parking lots or shopping centers.
2. What kinds of changes can you expect to happen based on what you've witnessed with your experiment? Be sure to mention both the outgoing and incoming organisms.
3.Explain how the water cycle would be affected by large areas of concrete. Include information about run-off and pollution along with infiltration to ground water.
From what was seen so far, it is right to extrapolate that over time across he world, that environmental and climatic factors will have a degrading impact on the aesthetics of the architecture that have been created around human constructs such as shopping centers, parking lots, and even human dwellings.
What kinds of changes can you expect to happen based on what you've witnessed with your experiment? The kind of changes to be experienced is that aesthetics such as branding signs, paintings, signs and signages and other physical amenities are subject to wear and tear.
Animals both macroscopic and and microscopic contribute to these factors. For example, just like the in the experiment, ants are seen burrowing into soil and soft rock.
Humans, on the other hands naturally, wear away physical amenities with use over time.
How will the water cycle would be affected by large areas of concrete? The simple version of the water cycle is such that:
Rain fall to the earth,The water is absorbed on the soilThe water is evaporated from the soil into the atmosphereBy convection, the water fall back again onto the earth.Because concrete cannot absorb water as much as soil, the water that falls on the concrete runs off.
Bacterial which usually reside on natural soil don't exist on concrete, hence rather than breakdown waste into biodegradable components of the ecosystem, waster are washed off into water bodies as they are.
