I started hanging out with the stoners, because I felt like they would be the easiest to befriend based on my history. I mean, the only thing my jacked-up parents taught me was how to score drugs. So, of course they accepted me with open arms and all we did was party. That's basically where it all began for me. I started drinking every weekend and smoking blunts occasionally. Then, that quickly turned into every day. I loved getting high back then because it didn't take much for me to feel good and escape. But as time went on, I needed something stronger because my tolerance was crazy. I started using contin which eventually led to me using heroin. Now, heroin has taken over everything I do in life because I crave it constantly. I can't keep a job, I have no friends, and the thought of withdrawal causes me to seriously panic. I've even died a total of 5 times due to my habit. You would think that overdosing repeatedly would push me to get clean, but in reality, I think I want to die. I absolutely hate what I'm doing to myself, and the person that I've become. I'm just like my messed-up parents.
