I lay there, listening to the sounds of their breathing and the crickets outside. I am exhausted and my body aches, but my mind is restless. I can't help but think about the injustice of my situation and the hopelessness of my future.
I hope tomorrow will bring some form of relief, but I fear it will be just like today. Another day of slavery in this foreign land.
