Answer 1

First of all, with no television to compete for our time, we found plenty of hours for personal interests. We all read more that week than we had read during the six months before. We all started reading books on various topics that interests us. I started reading fictional novels that I really liked since before.

We each also enjoyed some hobbies we had ignored for ages. For myself I started gardening and planting more flowers in the garden along with my mother. Father started solving puzzles in the magazine or newspaper. We really started enjoying our days attending to our hobbies.

In addition, my sister and I both stopped procrastinating with our homework. With the television gone we got enough time to complete our homework on time and spend a carefree night with enough time to talk and engage ourselves with our parents. With the TV gone we realized the precious time we had been wasting away.

Energy is needed to power a PC, but not all of its internal parts receive power straight from the wall. Instead, electricity travels from the power company's alternating current (AC) into the needed voltage of direct current (DC), which is used by PC components.

primal instinct of self-preservation" affects people's actions? Explain your answer.

Answers

People's actions are hampered by the "primal instinct for self-preservation". Self-preservation is the process by which an organism protects itself from harm or death.

What means self-preservation?Self-preservation is a behaviour or set of behaviours that ensures an organism's survival. It is thought to be shared by all living organisms. Pain and fear are essential components of this mechanism in sentient organisms.Pain motivates people to avoid dangerous situations, protect a damaged body part while it heals, and avoid similar experiences in the future.Even the simplest living organisms are typically subjected to intense selective pressure to evolve a response that would aid in the avoidance of a harmful environment, if such an environment exists. Organisms evolve, adapt, and even thrive in a benign environment.Self-preservation is thus an almost universal feature of life. When confronted with a novel threat, many species will have a self-preservation response that is either too specialised or not specialised enough to deal with it.
