CAN YOU WRITE A ; NARRATIVE: Write about a real or imagined road you have traveled, whether on a road trip or, simply, a stretch of road you have traveled frequently. What did you find curious or compelling on the route? Did you have any favorite stops along the way? Who was traveling with you? Explain why the road had significance for you and be sure to use descriptive details to paint a vivid picture of the road and its surroundings for your audience.
Although a narrative (story like) response, you still need to create paragraphs; at minimum you should have an introduction, paragraph 1, and conclusion. If you include dialogue, also separate those into their own paragraphs.

Answer:

I squint my eyes looking at the flickering light down the path. The gravel below my feet, colder than normal. I slowly walk the abyss. No fear strikes my emotions. Nothingness is all I sense. Trees line the sides of the trail as well as houses and bushes. No one is out and about; most lights are dim or distinguished. I walk. A few houses down, you can find my home. A plain house simple and small surrounded by fence which holds back Jerry, a ferocious looking dog. Despite his looks, he is a sweet puppy. We got him from a shelter not too long ago. I believe he is a Great Dane. Enough about him, let me explain how I got here.

My name is (      ). I have (    ) eyes and (      ) hair. I am quite (short/tall). I have hardly any free time and too many responsibilities. I finish my schoolwork on time always. My chores are never slack. Most of my friends are too busy to hang out anymore. As we get older, we see each other less. I enjoy the quiet. A quiet book relaxes the soul, but a quiet walk relaxes the body and mind. Don't get me wrong, I love company when it's brief. After too much longer I grow less fond of the person and realize how much we actually don't have in common.

I really enjoy my walks at night. It is quite peaceful. Sometimes there are flying creatures that soar through the night. At times, I can see them if they fly into the light. The path I take is a straight shot with traffic signs at both ends. Sometimes I spice up my walk with a skip or two maybe a trick here or there. Other times, I look really hard to see what I can find in the night. Once, I found a black cat. It seemed friendly, but when I got close it made strange noises. The fog sets in early some nights. It looks like small clouds floating just above the ground. I run through them sometimes. It's almost like running in the sky.

In the end, it's okay to be on purpose. It's okay to take your time and be alone. The best place to understand yourself and to better yourself is to be alone with you. A quote I stand by is, "I think, therefore I am."- René Descartes. Life is a glimpse, and we must all enjoy it to the best of our abilities.

Hope this helped!!!!!! I proofread it, you might have to go over it and change some up. I left some blank for you to better describe yourself.

Answers

An information-based deduction or line of reasoning known as inference relies on the information at hand to draw a conclusion. To infer is to logically conclude a conclusion from the interpretation of other data.

A conclusion can also be drawn by inferring from other perceptions or by examining one or more arguments. This view suggests that the conclusion stage of the scientific method is the only one at which a scientist is permitted to draw conclusions.

The steps for drawing an inference are as follows:

Step 1

Make a note of a key passage from the text.

Step 2

Find evidence to support that claim.

Step 3

Include any knowledge you have about that concept based on your personal experience.

Step 4

Make an inference using the combined information.

Why does Hester associate Chillingworth with the Black Man? What ominous character traits does Chillingworth have? What might be the significance of Chillingworth’s name? Be sure to support your answers.

Answers

Hester associates Chillingworth with the Black Man because they both go out of their way to haunt someone. The sinister character traits that Chillingworth possesses are coldness, the relentless desire for revenge, and the satisfaction of causing suffering. The meaning of the name Chillingworth is excellence in cruelty.

Who is the Black Man?It is a tale told in Puritan communities. He is a spiritual being who lives haunting people, especially in the forest.

Chillingworth insists on tormenting Hester for the sin she has committed. He doesn't leave her alone for a second, no matter how much she begs him to stop causing her pain. Chillingworth's insistence on being cruel to Hester makes her compare him to the Black Man, as both have no compassion and insist on haunting people.

This dark behavior of Chillingworth matches the possible meaning of his name, as this name is formed by the combination of the words "chilling" which refers to something horrifying, cruel, and terrifying, and "worth" which refers to something that has reached excellence and something that has great value. So we can agree that his name means excellence in cruelty.
